Student Ministry Summer Trips

During the summer, we go to an incredible summer camp with our middle school students that offers a different experience and different activities each successive year. In our high school ministry, each small group goes on a wilderness experience together specific to their grade. These trips are designed to challenge students spiritually, physically, emotionally, and intellectually as they are pushed out of their comfort zones and as they spend intentional time focused on their relationship with God. Students only have the opportunity to go on each of these unique trips once as the following year brings about a different experience. Don’t miss out!

Camp Eagle (5-8th grade) – An amazing summer camp experience full of outdoor adventure, authentic relationships, and Biblical truth, as well as an 8th grade hybrid trip adding in some of the elements of our high school wilderness trips!

Pecos River Trip (9th grade) – Paddling in kayaks on the Pecos River in southwest Texas, sleeping under the stars, and experiencing God in nature!

Sonlight Backpacking Trip (10th grade) – Backpacking in the San Juan mountains of southwestern Colorado we climb peaks, explore trails, and take time to listen to God.

Utah Canyoneering (11th, 12th, and College) – Camping in the North Wash area of Utah near Lake Powell, we tackle a different canyon each day filled with rappelling and rock climbing, in addition to extended solo times exploring spiritual growth.
