DOVE Tile Parties — You’re invited to cut out DOVES from clay — Support child survivors of sex trafficking — No skill or talent needed — We’ll show you how — Come When You Can – no registration required — Bring a friend — Mondays 10-12:00 — 2nd floor Student Building.  The DOVE Tiles will be donated to The Refuge to raise funds and awareness.  And will be installed in murals in the girls’ cottages and chapels as beautiful symbols of hope and healing.  Joyce Johntz, 512-695-3860 or

Class:      Ceramics I & II
Dates:     Mondays, February 4 – March 11 (6 weeks)

Time:       5:30pm–8:30pm
Where:    Second floor, Student and Children’s Center

  • Ceramics I & II meet simultaneously.  Students learn from demonstrations, videos and from each other how to use molds and stencils of biblically inspired images to create ceramic pieces.  Doves are also created to decorate the walls of The Refuge Ranch, Austin’s ministry which rescues girls from sex trafficking.  
  • For all ages and skill levels.  (Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.)    
  • Six weeks, $45 individual class fee or $50 max family class fee.  Clay, glazes, demonstrations and Instruction Manual included.
