Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir leads in the traditional worship services each Sunday at 8:00 am and 11:00 am.  (Singers are not required to sing both services each Sunday.)  This 30-40 voice choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm until 8:30.  In addition to weekly worship services, the choir presents several seasonal worship services or concerts throughout the year.  The Chancel Choir is open to all adults.  An audition is not required and it is not necessary to read music.  All that is required is the desire to give your praise to God and to commit to faithful attendance in weekly rehearsals.


Handbell Choir

Handbell Choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the Music Room in Fellowship Center and presents musical offerings in Sunday morning worship services on a monthly basis.  Ringers are accepted as positions are available.  Ringers need to have basic music reading skills.  In addition to presenting musical offerings in worship, the group plays seasonal programs in the church and throughout the community.

Contemporary Worship Team

  Our contemporary worship team leads the contemporary service at 9:30 in the Sanctuary and at 11:00 in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings.  If you are a singer or instrumentalist and would like to audition to be part of the contemporary worship team or would like to explore being part of our technical arts team please contact Phillip Sandifer at


For His Glory

Lakeway Church's Women's Ensemble, consists of Lee Dilday, Laurie Couch, Dianna Stromme and Terri Seifert.  They sing periodically in various Sunday services and perform at various times throughout the year at other church functions and at events around the community.
CHILDREN'S SUMMER MUSIC CAMP 2018 will be Heroes of Faith. Rehearsals will be Monday thru Friday, August 6-10 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm; performances on Sunday, August 12.  CLICK HERE for details and to register your child(ren).  During the week we will audition the cast (all children will receive speaking parts), learn the songs, make the props and sets, rehearse the drama and do every thing necessary to present and entire musical. Musicians minister at Vista Oaks Assisted Living, the Summit Assisted Living and Longhorn Village Retirement Community.  Associate Pastor Brent Graham leads a Bible study each second and fourth Thursday afternoon from 3:00 – 4:00 pm and one Thursday morning a month at Longhorn Village.  We are always looking for musicians who are willing to use their musical gifts & talents to entertain, inspire and/or lead worship for these residents preceding the Bible Study.  Contact Mark Savage-Rains at  for more information.
