Help and encouragement after the death of a loved one

GriefShare is a special 14-week seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life. We know it hurts, and we want to help.

If you have experienced the death of a spouse, child, or loved one and desire to have others walk alongside you through your grief to healing and hope, GriefShare provides support and encouragement!  Trained facilitators offer support to those dealing with the loss of a loved one, either recently or remotely. Each GriefShare session is based on a 30-minute video followed by a discussion in small groups in a confidential setting.

The fall session includes a meeting called Surviving the Holidays on Tuesday, Nov 18.  There will be no meeting on Tuesday, Nov 25, the week of Thanksgiving.

Mom’s Table Fellowship

Join Mom’s Table for uplifting conversations and speakers offering practical tools on parenting, marriage, and growing your relationship with God.  A “Come-When-You-Can” Ministry for women with children ages birth through high school, although we love when moms can attend every gathering.

DivorceCare + Surviving the Holidays
Tuesday, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
September 9 – December 16

DivorceCare is a 13-week biblically-based support group and seminar designed to help those going through divorce or separation deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding their lives.  At DivorceCare, you will become a part of a small group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce.  You’ll meet others who understand your feelings and will encourage you.  You’ll also have a chance to discuss the information presented during the DivorceCare seminar.  Many participants say these support groups are the most valuable part of the program.

The fall session includes a meeting called Surviving the Holidays on Tue, Nov 18.  There will be no meeting on Tue, Nov 25, the week of Thanksgiving.

Men’s Bible Study – Genesis and the Christian Faith

Join us for a deep dive into the book of Genesis, where we explore the foundations of our faith, the origins of humanity, and God’s unfolding plan for His people. This weekly men’s study is an excellent opportunity to gather over lunch, grow spiritually, and encourage one another in their walk with Christ.

Whether new to Bible study or a seasoned believer, the stories of creation, covenant, and redemption will give you fresh insights and practical applications.

Helping those with Parkinson’s Disease

Lakeway Church Parkinson’s Support Group is an open support group with monthly meetings providing encouragement, support, and information to people living with Parkinson’s disease.

First Tuesday of each month from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

No One Should Face Cancer Alone.

If cancer has touched your life, perhaps you would like to join the Lakeway Church Cares Women’s Cancer Support group. Whatever stage of treatment you are in, past or present, you are most welcome. If you are caring for someone with cancer, you are most welcome. You will feel supported, uplifted, and encouraged to share your experiences and emotions.

Worship in Motion [WiM]

Come and move as the spirit leads you with joy and praise through dance.  In this class, you can improve core strength and balance.

Meets weekly on Tuesday and Friday
9:00 am – 10:00 am

• Bring a water bottle, floor mat, and hand weights (recommended but not required)
• Feel free to come and go, as you are available
• Activity Waiver must be completed before your first session.

Do you become exhausted as you care for a loved one? Do you wonder whether, when, and where to find someone to help you?  Do you find yourself overwhelmed with the many challenges and difficult decisions?  If so, CARING for CAREGIVERS might be for you!

CARING FOR CAREGIVERS is a peer support group that provides emotional and spiritual support to individuals involved in the care of a loved one due to challenges presented by illness, disease, accident, and/or the effects of aging. Many of our caregivers also face the challenges associated with a family member who may have some form of dementia or memory loss.
