Your most important role as a parent is helping your children begin a relationship with Jesus!  If you’re wondering if your child is ready to be baptized and how they can become a follower of Christ, our Baptism Class is a perfect place for kids from Kinder – 5th grade to get their questions answered.

There will be a video and more details on what to expect on baptism day.

This class is for a parent and the child and is led by Christi and Sunny.

Join us this fall for our Parent Connection Workshops, created to help parents navigate the complexities of raising children in today’s world. Gain valuable insights and practical tools and connect with a supportive community, all aimed at parents of elementary, middle, and high school-aged children. Our goal is to help you guide your children to follow Jesus and be a light in a world filled with technological challenges and cultural pressures.

While parents attend these workshops, middle school and high school students are invited to engage in their own discussions on these critical topics at Student Ministry Wednesday Rally. This parallel approach ensures that parents and children are equipped to handle these challenges in a cohesive and supportive manner.

Baptism Sunday is September 29th on The Great Lawn.

Parents are the primary faith builders for their children. So 4-5 times a year (5th Sunday of the month), we partner with you as your families to worship together,  kids and students may experience the importance of going to “big” church.

• Kinder – 12th-Grade worship with their family.
• Sermon note activity worksheets are provided.
• Nursery available (up to 5 yrs)

Baby Dedication Class

There’s no greater gift of God than when a child enters a family. Our Kids Ministry has the privilege of helping families express their appreciation for a new addition through baby dedication.

We believe a baby’s dedication and celebration are about dedicating the baby to the Lord and encouraging parents to raise them in a God-honoring way. As your church, we want to partner with you and be your biggest fans and supporters as you seek to raise your child to one day know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Bible Navigators

Studying Scripture is one of the most important ways we learn about God. Lakeway Kids Ministry presents personal Bibles to each third-grade through fifth-grade student as a statement of their growing faith development and recognition of being old enough to study Scripture independently.

Bible Navigators receive their Deep Blue Bible and are prayed for in Worship Service.  We spend eight weeks learning to navigate the Bible.
