Philippians 2:1-8 and Matthew 7:12 provide a powerful framework for handling conflict in relationships. Matthew 7:12, the Golden Rule, challenges us to treat others as we want to be treated, fostering mutual respect and empathy. Together, these verses teach us to fight for the relationship, not to win arguments or prove we are right. Instead of seeking victory, we seek understanding, reconciliation, and unity, valuing the person and the connection over being right. This approach fosters healthy, grace-filled relationships that reflect Christ’s love.
