Sunday Morning Small Group Leader

Either 9:30 or 11:00 hour.
Twice a month – 1st/3rd or 2nd/4th.
Small Groups are where kids connect, are discipled and experience community with
other kids and cared for by a trusted adult, a Small Group Leader.
Leaders encourage kids to pursue deeper relationships with Jesus Christ by teaching
and modeling what it means to become a follower. They lead prepared lessons to
help the kids understand and apply the Bible to their lives.
Leaders are equipped with training, weekly lessons, and prepared activities, so they
may focus the hour on encouraging kids.
Nursery (birth – 23 months) must be 18 years to serve
Toddler (2 – 3 years)
Pre-K (4 – 5 years, not in kindergarten)
Kindergarten – 5th Grade

If you love to smile and give direction, you have a place right here! As a Lakeway
Kids Greeter, you are the face of our ministry, and the first-person new families
meet.
Greeters hold open doors, assist with check-in, may give a quick tour, answer
questions, be resourceful, and escort new families to Worship.
Either 9:30 or 11:00 hour.
Twice a month – 1st/3rd or 2nd/4th.
Special 5th Sunday Team

Do you have a gift for organizing and service, but don’t feel called to be in a
classroom with kids, this is your spot!
A team of volunteers who meet during the week to prepare the activities for Sunday
mornings and other events. A great place to laugh and meet new friends while
serving a huge need in Kids Ministry.

Is your gift hospitality, decorating and planning? Special events team is for you! We
have many events throughout the year that require a team to plan, coordinate and
execute.
Mother/Son and Father/Daughter Dances, Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, Summer fun
events, Trunk or Treat, Gingerbread Trail and more!
