May 31 is Family Worship Sunday, the 5th Sunday of the month. Kids and Students are invited to join the 9:30 or 11:00 am services in the Worship Center. We hope this will be a fun way to welcome them into the broader life of our church!

Join us for an amazing camp experience!

We will be taking Middle School and High School students to Camp Eagle!  Students will stay in bunk bed-style dorm rooms based on gender and grade. They will be split up into activity groups of similar grade levels during the day for Bible study, team-building challenges, and fun activities like zip-lining, rappelling, rock climbing, arrow tag, water slides, and so much more.

There will be a worship and teaching time each morning and evening where all the students will gather.

Sunday Night Lights (SNL)

Middle & High School students, join us for Sunday Night Lights this summer!

On a couple Sunday nights, we’re getting together for a laid-back time to have fun, connect, and just be together. No pressure, nothing formal—just a great space to hang out, laugh, and build real friendships.

Come as you are, bring your friends, and jump in. Whether you’ve been around for a while or it’s your first time, you’ll fit right in.

Student Summer Adventures

This summer, Lakeway Student Ministry is creating opportunities for middle and high school students to connect, have fun, and build meaningful friendships. From skating nights to summer celebrations, these events are designed to help students feel known, welcomed, and part of a community that grows together.

Whether your student is new or already connected, we’d love for them to join us this summer.

Roller Rink Day

June 18
Kick off the summer with a fun day at the roller rink! Students will enjoy music, skating, and time together with friends and leaders in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Students are invited to an afternoon of fun and connection at High 5. This event is a great opportunity to build friendships and enjoy time together outside of regular student gatherings.

6th Grade Back To School Lock-In- Registration coming soon!

Calling all incoming 6th graders! Start the school year with a night full of fun, friendship, games, food, and unforgettable memories at the 6th Grade Back To School Lock-In at Lakeway Church.

This special event is designed just for 6th graders — giving students a chance to connect with one another, meet leaders, and kick off the new school year in a safe, welcoming environment where they can feel known and encouraged.

Students will be dropped off Saturday evening and stay all night at the church before being picked up Sunday morning.

Blessing of the Backpacks 
Sunday, August 9 | 9:30 & 11:00 am | Worship Center

Hey families!
Grab those backpacks, lunch boxes, tote bags—or whatever your kids carry into the school year—and join us for a special Blessing of the Backpacks during worship! We’ll pray over students, teachers, and families as they head into a brand-new school year with courage, kindness, and maybe even sharpened pencils.

For Kids Ministry Families:
Check in your kids (K–5th) 10 minutes early and drop them off with their leaders. We’ll walk them into the Sanctuary together.

Running a little late? No worries—they can join you in the Sanctuary or wait with us in the Large Group Room.

Let’s kick off the school year with faith, fun, and a little holy encouragement in those backpacks!

Baptism Sunday and Church Picnic

Join us on Sunday, September 27, on the Great Lawn for a church-wide celebration and picnic as we cheer on our brothers and sisters in Christ, publicly affirming their faith through baptism. Bring your family, invite friends, and let’s celebrate together!
