Studying Scripture is one of the most important ways we learn about God. Lakeway Kids Ministry presents personal Bibles to each third-grade through fifth-grade student as a statement of their growing faith development and recognition of being old enough to study Scripture independently. Third to Fifth grade is such an important season—kids move from learning to read to reading to learn. Bible Navigators is designed to help children and parents grow together in confidence as they learn how to navigate God’s Word.
Bible Navigators is an eight-week study for kids and their parents to attend together. All participants will receive a Deep Blue Bible and be prayed over in the main service as we launch this journey. A parent is required to attend with their child.
Bible Navigators will have a fall class from Sept 13 – Nov 1st.
Your most important role as a parent is helping your children begin a relationship with Jesus! If you’re wondering if your child is ready to be baptized and how they can become followers of Christ, our Baptism Class is a perfect place for kids from kindergarten through 5th grade to get their questions answered.
There will be a video and more details on what to expect on baptism day.
Join us on Sunday, September 27, on the Great Lawn for a church-wide celebration and picnic as we cheer on our brothers and sisters in Christ, publicly affirming their faith through baptism. Bring your family, invite friends, and let’s celebrate together!

If you are interested in Baptism, we will offer classes on Wed, Sept 16 or Wed, Sept 23 from 5-6 PM. Please register to attend.
We believe a child’s dedication and celebration are about dedicating the child to the Lord and encouraging parents to raise them in a God-honoring way. As your church, we want to partner with you and be your biggest fans and supporters as you seek to raise your child to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ one day. Child dedications are celebrated in our services three times a year.
