Promotion Sunday!

Promotion Sunday is an excellent way to shine a light on kids and help encourage them in their spiritual walk.  Lakeway Kids Ministry celebrates Promotion Sunday during the transition when kids and students move up to the next grade level of Sunday school classes.

After a special goodbye in the Discovery Room, 3rd Graders will move to the Clubhouse.  (Drop off in Discover/Pick up in Clubhouse)

5th Graders will move to the Student Ministry (parents are invited to a special 5th-grade goodbye at the beginning of each service in the Clubhouse)

Parents will be notified if their incoming kindergartener is ready to join us in the Discovery Big Room on either Promotion Sunday, June 1, or August 10, the Sunday before school starts.

A monthly tour of the Lakeway church volunteers in action! You will learn more about helping guests find a seat, serving coffee, teaching kids more about Jesus, greeting in our Student Ministry, serving behind the scenes, and many other ways to use your gifts to SERVE HERE at the Lakeway Church.

Summer Night Lights (SNL)

Middle and High Schoolers—this is your summer crew! On certain Wednesdays from 6:30–8:00 pm, come for a night packed with fun and fellowship. You’ll laugh, connect, and build a community that rallies with you and for you as you grow in your walk with Jesus. Bring your friends, bring your questions, bring your whole self—you belong here.

Dinner at Lake Travis’ Floating Restaurant!

Put on your boat shoes and join Lakeway Church Men’s Ministry for a casual dinner at Captain Pete’s Boathouse on Lake Travis.  We will meet at Rough Hollow Marina between 5:00 and 5:30 pm for the boat armada to shuttle us across the lake to the restaurant.

Join us for our High School Summer Adventure on 6/12/2025 from 6-9pm on the Just for Fun Party Barge!  Their double deck party barges have a sun deck and a shaded deck and a tube slide from the upper deck.  It is the perfect way to hang out on Lake Travis!   Drop Offs @ Emerald Point (near Hudson Bend).  We will send more details on drop off location as it gets closer.  Join us for great food, fun and fellowship!

Child Dedication Class

We believe a child’s dedication and celebration are about dedicating the baby to the Lord and encouraging parents to raise them in a God-honoring way. As your church, we want to partner with you and be your biggest fans and supporters as you seek to raise your child to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ one day. Child dedications are celebrated in our services three times a year. If you want to hear more, please sign up below to attend one of the Child Dedication Classes.

Water Slides, Water Balloons, and FUN…OH MY!

Kids (entering kindergarten through 5th grade) are invited to get soaked and enjoy summer fun on the Lakeway Church Great Lawn at Wacky Wednesday. A pizza lunch is included, too!

Join us for our Middle School Summer Adventure to Typhoon Texas on Tuesday, July 15th from 12-6pm.  We will meet at the church at 12pm and carpool to Typhoon Texas.  Lunch is provided.  Typhoon Texas is a family-friendly waterpark in Austin, offering a clean, safe experience so you can cool down this summer.  We hope you can join us for this amazing experience of fun and fellowship!

Camp Lift.

Camp Lift is for kids in the 4th and 5th grades for the 2025 – 2026 school year.

Lift is an exciting four-day program for Kids entering 4th and 5th grades. Campers will experience interactive Bible studies, high-energy worship celebrations, small group discussions, and plenty of wild and fun outdoor activities to ensure an unforgettable camp experience that leads preteens toward knowing Christ and growing in relationship with Him.
