Mission Organization: Casas Por Cristo
This trip is best for…
– open to everyone in the church.
– families are encouraged to sign up and go together.
– those younger and older can serve side by side.
– recommended for children at least eight years old.
WHO: We need a team of 25 people. Everyone in the church is welcome as we desire to see generations serving side by side. This year’s trip leader will be Mike Clarke.
WHAT: This mission trip is hands-on where every member of our team will participate in the construction of a home from start to finish. Lakeway Church partners with an organization called Casas Por Cristo, who in turn works with an area church pastor to identify a family in need. We, then, get to bless the family with a new home! We will build this home in four days while caring for the family and showing them the love of Jesus!
WHEN: November 20-25, 2026
WHERE: Acuna, Mexico, a border city across from Del Rio, TX.
Accommodations are dormitory style beds, shared dorm style bathrooms. We will stay at a local church, with guys and girls in separate bunk-bedroo
WHY: To be the hands and feet of Jesus!
