Purpose of the Trip

• The team will be putting on a Vacation Bible School (through an organization called Habitation of Hope) for orphans and vulnerable children, emphasizing children’s ministry and evangelism. It will also include spiritual formation teachings for children who have already received Christ.

Team

• Maximum of 12 adults or older students with a heart to serve children and reach out to those who don’t know Jesus.

Cost

• Estimated $2500 per person
• Deposit: $250

Accommodations

• The team will be staying at Habitation of Hope and meals will be provided for them there.

Preparation Requirements

• Several training sessions prior to the trip and one debrief meeting after we return home; prep work for VBS teachings, activities, and games.
• Passport and visa required; Vaccines as recommended by doctor (Polio vaccine required).
• Pre-trip devotional.
• Commissioning in adult worship services on June 28.

Itinerary Highlights

• July 5 – Church Service -Team will get time to share the word of God; 50 Children arrive at the campsite; evening session
• July 6 – July 9: Vacation Bible School Camp
• July 10 – Children leave the campsite, heading home
• July 11 – Team debrief and visit to Imire Game Park
