Thursdays Men’s Ministry, which meets from 12:15-1:15 in Room 205, is beginning a new series on November 5th. Entitled “Jesus the Theologian – Through Peasant Eyes”, it is a closer look at Jesus’ parables viewed from a Middle Eastern cultural perspective.

Material will be based on the life’s work of the late Dr. Kenneth E. Bailey, Middle East resident for over forty years and former Chair of the Biblical Department at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Bailey’s books and publications can be found in the libraries of many conservative seminaries.

The series will be led by Dom Brunone, who spent ten years working in that culture and had the immense privilege of both studying under Dr. Bailey and later presenting his material at several churches here in the U.S. This series is primarily lecture format, but there will be time for Q&A.

If you have a love for God’s word and are thinking of joining a Men’s Bible Study, you’re invited to consider this opportunity. Please reply to Laura Linton. Any questions can be directed to Dom at [email protected].
