5th Sunday Family Worship + Celebration

Parents are the primary faith builders for their children. Four to five times a year, on the fifth Sunday of the month, families have the opportunity to worship together. This allows kids and students to experience the importance of attending “big church” and growing in faith alongside the broader church family.

Easter Celebration | Journey to the Cross

Journey to the Cross is a walk-through event that guides you and your family along the path Jesus walked during His last days on Earth.  It focuses on Jesus’ love and forgiveness to demonstrate the real meaning of Easter: our risen Christ’s victory over death!

Designed for grandparents, parents, and children to experience together, this event teaches about the life-changing message of the cross in a way that everyone can understand and no one will forget.  All are welcome to stay after the walk-through to enjoy hot dogs, cotton candy, a petting zoo, and a bounce house on the Great Lawn.

Join us for a Contemporary Easter Service on Saturday at 4:00 pm in the Worship Center.  Bring the entire family for this exciting afternoon service to celebrate the resurrection of our savior. Join us this spring for our Parent Connection Workshops, created to help parents navigate the complexities of raising children in today’s world. Gain valuable insights and practical tools and connect with a supportive community, all aimed at parents of elementary, middle, and high school-aged children.

Creating a Spiritually Vibrant HOME  – from the book The Spiritually Vibrant Home by Don Everts, we will discuss three everyday habits backed up by a recent Barna research study.

Promotion Sunday!

Promotion Sunday is an excellent way to shine a light on kids and help encourage them in their spiritual walk.  Lakeway Kids Ministry celebrates Promotion Sunday during the transition when kids and students move up to the next grade level of Sunday school classes.

After a special goodbye in the Discovery Room, 3rd Graders will move to the Clubhouse.  (Drop off in Discover/Pick up in Clubhouse)

5th Graders will move to the Student Ministry (parents are invited to a special 5th-grade goodbye at the beginning of each service in the Clubhouse)

Parents will be notified if their incoming kindergartener is ready to join us in the Discovery Big Room on either Promotion Sunday, June 1, or August 10, the Sunday before school starts.

Child Dedication Class

We believe a child’s dedication and celebration are about dedicating the baby to the Lord and encouraging parents to raise them in a God-honoring way. As your church, we want to partner with you and be your biggest fans and supporters as you seek to raise your child to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ one day. Camp Lift.

Camp Lift is for kids in the 4th and 5th grades for the 2025 – 2026 school year.

Lift is an exciting four-day program for Kids entering 4th and 5th grades. Campers will experience interactive Bible studies, high-energy worship celebrations, small group discussions, and plenty of wild and fun outdoor activities to ensure an unforgettable camp experience that leads preteens toward knowing Christ and growing in relationship with Him.
