Life is Hard – God is Good
God Is Slow to Anger (and incredibly kind)
If God is good, why is life sometimes so hard? The Bible reveals that things aren’t as they should be. Brokenness is everywhere, including in us. But the story of Scripture and the mission of God is one of rescue, redemption, and restoration. As we begin the New Year, this teaching series invites us to approach life’s challenges with a fresh perspective, seeking the power of the Spirit, the restoring love of Christ, and the faithful goodness of God in every area of our lives.
In Exodus 34:4–7, we encounter the profound nature of God revealed to Moses: a God who is compassionate, gracious, and slow to anger. What does it mean for us to reflect this aspect of God’s character in our relationships, workplaces, and daily lives? This week, we’ll explore the richness of God’s patience, the power of His steadfast love, and the call to embody this same patience in a world that often thrives on impatience. Join us as we uncover how understanding God’s slowness to anger can transform not only our hearts but also the way we extend grace to those around us.
