As followers of Jesus, Serving is at the core of who we are!
Jesus himself said that He came not to be served but to serve those around him. We believe that when we serve, we can help remove unnecessary barriers that keep people from Jesus. We’ve got three ways you can serve: here at Lakeway Church, nearby in the community, and far away – in our country and around the world. Check out the pages linked below for how you can get involved.
SERVE HERE
One of the best ways to help others connect with Jesus is through serving. Whether it’s greeting at our Welcome Center, teaching kids about Jesus, leading with our worship team, or helping out behind the scenes, there are many ways to use your gifts! We encourage you to check out how you can serve in your church.
SERVE NEAR
We have many opportunities to serve in our local community or around the city of Austin, like BLESSing your neighbor, working in Garden 9:10, distributing food to those in need, or caring for victims of sex trafficking.
SERVE FAR
We believe in serving the least and the lost in unreached places and obeying Jesus’ great commission to make disciples of all nations. You can help make this happen through short-term trips and child sponsorships. Find out how you can make a difference around the world!
