Dates  November 1-8, 2025

Purpose of the Trip  Support of our missionaries in outreach and service; minister to kids in a rural mountain village

Team  10 adults or older students with a heart to serve children and reach out to those who don’t know Jesus

Cost

• Estimated $1500 per person = $900 + cost of flights
• Deposit: $150

Accommodations  Staying in hotels with double occupancy, some meals out and some cooked by the team.

Preparation Requirements

• Several training sessions prior to the trip and one debrief meeting after we return home
• Passport required; No visa required; Vaccines as recommended by doctor; Malaria medication likely
• Pre-trip devotional
• Commissioning in adult worship services on October 26.

Itinerary Highlights

• November 1 – Fly from Austin to Guatemala City, fellowship with Perez and Gomez families
• November 2 – Drive to Tectitan (8+ hours), settle in
• November 3-5 – VBS for area kids; nail and hair care (women); testimonies; better husbands and fathers workshop (men); worship; garage sale to support VBS snacks and supplies
• November 6 – Drive from Tectitan to Antigua, trip debrief, overnight in hotel
• November 7 – Return to Guatemala City, farewell dinner (Gomez)
• November 8 – Fly back to Austin
