When Light Breaks In

Scripture: Matthew 2:1-12

Every now and then, life sends a moment that breaks in like a spotlight cracking open a midnight sky. A truth you didn’t see coming. A call you didn’t know you needed. A revelation that changes everything!.

Christians have a name for this kind of holy interruption: Epiphany.
Epiphany celebrates the moment when God revealed his Son to the nations through the strange caravan of star-following travelers we call the Magi.

Max Lucado says God loves to slip into the quiet corners of the world and whisper, “I’m here.” Epiphany is the day we remember that whisper became a cosmic announcement.

Matthew 2:1-12 is not simply a Christmas after-scene. It is a turning of the great wheel of redemptive history. The world is meeting its King.

Let’s walk into the story.

Finding Rest- Traditional

Traditional

Scripture: Luke 10:38–42

Life moves fast, and busyness is often celebrated as a badge of honor. Our calendars fill, our minds race, and exhaustion becomes normal. Yet Scripture reminds us that being busy is not the same as being fruitful—and when busyness becomes our identity, it quietly pulls us away from what matters most. While a full life isn’t the enemy, a distracted one is. When constant activity keeps us from attentiveness to God, our spiritual lives suffer. Walking with Jesus and experiencing true fruitfulness often requires slowing down, leaving something undone, and choosing presence over productivity. This message invites us to examine the pace of our lives and rediscover the freedom found in sitting at the feet of Jesus—where rest, clarity, and lasting transformation begin.

Coming Home

Luke 15:11–32

Christmas is a season of homecoming—a time when hearts long to return to where they truly belong. In Luke 15, Jesus tells the story of a son who wandered far from home, only to discover that grace was waiting for him all along.

This Christmas, join us as we explore what it means to come home—not just to family or tradition, but to the Father who welcomes us with open arms. Whether you’ve been close or feel far away, the invitation is the same: Come home to hope, peace, and love.

Advent of Love: How Deep and Wide Is the Love of God

Luke 1:39–45; Luke 2:8–10; Philippians 4:4–5

Finally! For generations, God’s people waited. They clung to promises, longed for deliverance, and prayed for the day the Messiah would come. And then—finally—He did. Join us this Advent season as we rediscover the wonder of Christ’s arrival. Each week, we’ll explore the hope, peace, joy, and love that Jesus brings—not as abstract ideas, but as life-changing gifts from the God who keeps His promises. Whether you’re weary from waiting, longing for renewal, or simply needing good news, this Advent season invites you to experience the story of Jesus again… as if for the very first time. Finally—He’s here.
