Thanksgiving Meal Bags for Lake Travis Crisis Ministries

Each year, with your help, we pack reusable bags with love and generously give them to Lake Travis Crisis Ministries to support our Lake Travis ISD Families in need this holiday season. We appreciate everyone who supports Lakeway Church Missions—Give Thanks and Give Back.

Please help us give families a Happy Thanksgiving this year!  In 2024, Lake Travis Crisis Ministries distributed 255 + Thanksgiving food bags to those in need.

Deliver your filled bags by November 16:
Sundays from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm

We hope you will fill a reusable grocery bag with the following non-perishable items:

$25 gift card for a turkey
Green Bean
Corn
Mashed potatoes
Yams
Bag of Marshmallows
Gravy
Stuffing Mix
Cranberry Sauce
A bread such as cornbread/muffin mix
A dessert, such as a cookie or cake mix
A note of hope and encouragement

You may continue to support Lake Travis Crisis Ministries throughout the year.  Non-perishable donations are collected in the Fellowship Hall or directly to LTCM.  Click here for more.

Build a Box, and you can transform entire families and communities worldwide with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When you build a Shoebox for a child, you provide believers in remote regions with a creative way to share the Good News in a culturally sensitive manner. You can participate in two ways :

1) Pick up an empty box starting Nov 2 – return the box filled to Lakeway Church by Sun, Nov 16.

Outside the Worship Center, you can pick up an empty box and packing instructions on Sunday, November 2 and November 9. Bring it back to the Worship Center on Sunday or to the office during open hours, during these two weeks

Each online shoebox is carefully prepared, abiding by strict customs regulations to safeguard partners who deliver the gifts as well as the boys and girls who receive them.

Support Two Great Causes with One Fun Fall Tradition!

This year, your participation in the annual Turkey Trot goes even further. We’re teaming up to support two meaningful local and global missions:

-The Lake Travis Education Foundation makes a huge impact on students and educators by being a source of private funding, grants, and scholarships.
-Lakeway Church Students as they prepare to serve in the Dominican Republic in Summer 2026, building a home for a family in need through Casa Por Cristo.

1) Join the Hill Country Turkey Trot.  
Walk, trot, or run — on Thursday, November 27
Every registration supports BOTH, Lakeway Students & LTEF!
When you register, select “LC” when asked, “What LT campus do you represent?”

2) Make a Pledge! 
Make a pledge of any amount per registration our students gather, up to 200 registrations.
Your donation will directly help support the 2026 student mission trip
Example: A pledge of $1 per registration = a maximum gift of $200 if we reach our goal of 200 registrations.

Your involvement makes a real difference — locally in our schools and globally for a family waiting for a safe place to call home.

The holidays can be a painful and lonely time. Whether you’re separated or divorced or experiencing the loss of a family member or friend, you are not without hope. Join us for an encouraging seminar to help you navigate the holidays and discover new ways to make them enjoyable again. GriefShare and DivorceCare groups will have separate seminars.

Family Worship Sunday

November 30th is Family Worship Sunday, which occurs on the 5th Sunday of the month. Kids and Students are invited to join the 9:30 or 11:00 am services in the Worship Center. We hope this will be a fun way to welcome them into the broader life of our church!

Women’s Gathered

Lakeway Women’s Gathered invites you to a Christmas Coffee to highlight the contributions of the Salvation Army, the largest provider of family emergency shelter in Central Texas. The Salvation Army serves more than 10,000 people each year through shelter, addiction rehabilitation, clothing, meals, and direct client assistance.

Enjoy the Salvation Army band playing Christmas Carols, and Pastor Craig Paczkowski, who served with the Salvation Army in Atlanta, will welcome guests and introduce our main speakers for the morning, Majors Lewis and Jacqulyn Reckline.

Service of Remembrance and Hope

The Christmas season can be difficult for those who have lost someone they love. Join us on Sunday, December 7, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel for fellowship, encouragement, remembrance, and healing.
