The Bridge Event | Incoming 6th Grade Students

Please join Lakeway Church and communities nationwide on Thursday, May 7, as we come earnestly and expectantly to pray for the country, gathering in love and unity.

National Day of Prayer is an event you won’t want to miss! Invite your friends and family for a patriotic dinner followed by a time of worship and intentional prayer in the Sanctuary.

Rio Grande Bible College Potluck

On Thursday, May 14, we’ll have the privilege of hosting four students from Rio Grande Bible College for a special evening of worship, music, and testimony—shared in both Spanish and English. Rio Grande Bible College, one of our Global Missions Partners, trains students from across Latin America who are preparing to step into full-time ministry and to be sent out as missionaries around the world.

We want this night to feel like family—a warm, welcoming evening where we gather around the table, celebrate what God is doing in other parts of the world, and worship together as one church. It’s also a chance to encourage these students personally as they prepare to serve the Lord in ministry, and to be reminded that we’re part of something bigger than ourselves.

We’ll begin with a potluck dinner at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall, so please bring your favorite dish to share, and come ready for a joyful, cross-cultural night of connection and encouragement. Whether you’re new to Lakeway or have been here for years, this is the kind of night where friendships grow and hearts get stirred toward God’s mission. Come hungry, come expectant, and come ready to welcome others to the table.

Registration is almost here for LCCP Summer Fun Camps! Join Lakeway Church Christian PreSchool for 8 Weeks, Tue–Thu from 9 AM to 1 PM, with a brand-new weekly theme filled with creativity, discovery, and preschool-perfect adventures.

Registration is first-come, first-served and opens on Wed, Jan 21 at 8 am. Spaces fill quickly, so register early.

Family Worship Sunday

May 31 is Family Worship Sunday, the 5th Sunday of the month. Kids and Students are invited to join the 9:30 or 11:00 am services in the Worship Center. We hope this will be a fun way to welcome them into the broader life of our church!

Join us for an amazing camp experience!

We will be taking Middle School and High School students to Camp Eagle!  Students will stay in bunk bed-style dorm rooms based on gender and grade. They will be split up into activity groups of similar grade levels during the day for Bible study, team-building challenges, and fun activities like zip-lining, rappelling, rock climbing, arrow tag, water slides, and so much more.

There will be a worship and teaching time each morning and evening where all the students will gather.

Promotion Sunday is June 7!

Promotion Sunday is an excellent way to shine a light on kids and help encourage them in their spiritual walk.  Lakeway Kids Ministry celebrates Promotion Sunday during the transition when kids and students move up to the next grade level of Sunday school classes.

After a special goodbye in the Discovery Room, 3rd Graders will move to the Clubhouse.  (Drop off in Discover/Pick up in Clubhouse)

5th Graders will move to the Student Ministry (parents are invited to a special 5th-grade goodbye at the beginning of each service in the Clubhouse)

Parents will be notified if their incoming kindergartener is ready to join us in the Discovery Big Room on either Promotion Sunday, June 7, or August 9, the Sunday before school starts.

Middle & High School students, join us for Sunday Night Lights this summer!

On a couple Wednesday nights, we’re getting together for a laid-back time to have fun, connect, and just be together. No pressure, nothing formal—just a great space to hang out, laugh, and build real friendships.

Come as you are, bring your friends, and jump in. Whether you’ve been around for a while or it’s your first time, you’ll fit right in.

Dinner at Lake Travis’ Floating Restaurant!

Put on your boat shoes and join Lakeway Church Men’s Ministry for a casual dinner at Captain Pete’s Boathouse on Lake Travis.  We will meet at Rough Hollow Marina between 5:00 and 5:30 pm for the boat armada to shuttle us across the lake to the restaurant.
